Pay Range: $55.00hr - $60.00hr Requirement/Must Have: 8+ years of Administration experience in multiple complex applications and tools. Software Configuration Management expertise. Experience administering Git Lab, Artifactory, Xray, and Sonar Qube.
Experience with Terraform and Ansible. Understanding and working knowledge of containerization on Kubernetes/Open Shift. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and IBM Cloud. Strong verbal and written communication skills and a track record of cross-team collaboration. Working knowledge of different Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies. Experience configuring and managing Git Lab Runners, Groups, Projects, and Permissions ilable for 24/7 On-call support.
Responsibilities:
Execute strategic projects, optimize CI/CD workflows, and drive infrastructure modernization. Experienced the automation ecosystem including Git Lab, Ansible Automation Platform, and Terraform Enterprise. Ensure robust, scalable, and secure pipelines. Harden Git Lab for enterprise usage including SAML/SSO, LDAP, RBAC, and backup/restore. Design, implement, and optimize complex Git Lab CI/CD pipelines using YAML best practices. Leverage Terraform, Ansible, or similar to provision and manage self-hosted Git Lab and runners.
Implement Git Ops practices to manage infrastructure and environment configurations. Automate operational tasks and incident remediation via pipelines and scripts. Partner with application teams to onboard them onto Git Lab workflows and best practices. Develop and maintain clear runbooks, wiki pages, and pipeline templates. Integrate monitoring using Prometheus/Grafana or ELK for Git Lab health and pipeline performance. Implement policies and guardrails to ensure code quality, compliance, and security posture.
Troubleshoot and resolve CI/CD or migration-related incidents in a timely manner. Nice to Have:
Git Lab Certified Administrator. Recent experience administering Git Lab Self-Managed. Prior software experience with build management, configuration management and/or quality testing.
Experience with SCM practices including Agile, continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD).
