Create and maintain a detailed view of existing architecture
Align Service Now platform capabilities with business strategy and the Service Now roadmap
Lead the Platform Support Team in implementing technical good practices, policies, and procedures
Provide architectural controls and impact analysis for new requirements
Identify opportunities to combine similar solution needs
Provide leadership and participate in implementing new requirements on the Service Now platform
Contribute to governance processes
Stay current on Service Now products and applicable integrated technologies
Provide consultative leadership to the Platform Support Team
Assure platform alignment to business strategy and governance decisions
Document the platform and ensure appropriate technical solutions are used in business solution delivery

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related field; equivalent experience considered
3+ years overall experience as a Service Now Platform Architect
Knowledge of enterprise security and architecture
Knowledge of enterprise and/or IT Service Management
Service Now Advanced System Administration
Service Now Application Development
Scripting with JavaScript, Web Services, HTML, CSS, TSQL, and AngularJS
Performance Analytics and dashboarding
Scoped Application development and Work spaces
Integrations via REST, JDBC, and GraphQL using Integration Hub and Flow Designer
Strong written communication skills
Experience with modern Service Now features, including Virtual Agent, Now Assist, Mobile Development, UI Builder, and AWA
Experience with database design schemas and data modeling
Requirements-gathering experience
Ability to align and document business processes and requirements with a technical implementation
Experience with middleware and discovery technologies
Direct experience implementing IT Service Management, Strategic Portfolio Management, IT Operations Management, and Customer Service Management
Must have the right to work in the United States without immigration sponsorship
Relevant Service Now certifications are preferred, including Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, CIS – IT Service Management, CIS – Customer Service Management, and CIS – Project Portfolio Management
