Cloud Dev Ops Architect (Hands-on with Windows on AWS Migration) - W2 Only
Contract
Duration: 6 Months+ extension
Location: Remote
Placement: Asset Management / Equity Quant Research
Must have’s:- Hands‑on Dev Ops Architect with extensive experience across complex environments.
- Strong hands‑on IaC and Dev Ops design, implementation/deployment experience with Cloud Formation/Terraform, Python, Jenkins.
- Migration of Windows‑based platform to AWS – troubleshooting, performance tuning, and rehydrating Windows on the cloud.
- AWS Core Services:
- Core Networking / VPC, Route 53, Elastic Load Balancing.
- AWS Security Controls, guardrails development and IAM policies.
- Develop Cloud Formation templates with Windows.
- Provide recommendations and advice on performance tuning and best practices for Windows to EC2.
- Provide recommendations and advice on resiliency, monitoring dashboards, and overall reliability and availability of the platform.
- Review problem areas, troubleshoot, and provide recommendations for remediation and/or solutions.
- Work in conjunction with AWS Solutions Architects and services experts for research.
- Apply Dev Ops skills in creating and modifying code pipelines and operating procedures.
