We are looking for a Dev Sec Ops  Engineer.
You'll work closely with a cross-functional R&D organization to strengthen our technical foundations, automate deployments, improve system reliability, and ensure security is built into our infrastructure and development processes.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, digging into root causes, and continuously improving the way software is developed, deployed, and secured.
This role is open to US Citizens and Green Card holders. This will be an On-site role in the Dallas, TX

What You'll Do

We are looking for a Dev Sec Ops  Engineer.
You'll work closely with a cross-functional R&D organization to strengthen our technical foundations, automate deployments, improve system reliability, and ensure security is built into our infrastructure and development processes.

What You'll Do
  • Deploy and maintain critical applications within a cloud-native, microservices-based architecture
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
  • Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
  • Develop automation that improves deployment quality, reliability, and velocity
  • Implement effective monitoring, observability, and alerting across applications and infrastructure
  • Apply security best practices and controls across cloud and traditional IT environments
  • Monitor systems for potential threats and vulnerabilities and support security prevention and detection efforts
  • Partner with software engineers and cross-functional R&D teams to integrate security and reliability throughout the development lifecycle
  • Support incident response, disaster recovery, and incident management, including regular recovery drills
  • Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventative solutions
  • Monitor service-level indicators and help ensure systems consistently meet service-level objectives
  • Support capacity planning, performance testing, and infrastructure scalability as demand grows
  • Communicate technical and security risks clearly to help inform business decisions
  • Contribute to engineering best practices, documentation, and knowledge sharing
  • Participate in an on‑call rotation with the R&D team
  • Stay current with emerging Dev Ops, SRE, cloud, and security technologies and help share knowledge across the organization
What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in Dev Ops, Dev Sec Ops , SRE, or a related engineering role
  • Experience working with Azure and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
  • Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code and cloud infrastructure management
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and microservices
  • Software development and scripting experience, such as Python, Bash, or similar
  • Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, infrastructure, and applications
  • Understanding of cloud security, security controls, threat detection, and vulnerability management
  • Experience with monitoring, observability, incident response, and root cause analysis
  • Solid understanding of availability, uptime, disaster recovery, release management, and security best practices
  • Ability to analyze complex technical information, identify risks, and recommend improvements
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and curiosity - you want to understand the root cause rather than simply fix the immediate issue
  • Passion for automation, continuous improvement, and using data to improve reliability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, cross‑functional engineering environment
