The Research Applications Administrator-Open Specimen & Box will be responsible for the administration, support, and optimization of Open Specimen and Box Enterprise while providing operational support for additional Research Administration applications as assigned. Responsibilities include application administration, user provisioning, configuration, testing, documentation, training, vendor coordination, and ongoing operational support to ensure reliable and efficient delivery of research technology services. This position will work closely with business stakeholders, vendors, technical resources, and application owners to support system enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and process improvements while ensuring compliance with institutional policies, data governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
This position includes project management responsibilities.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

- Education Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or other related fields
- Experience 5 years business systems and/or project experience with exposure to systems or project development and testing, installation, and training May consider additional years of related experience in lieu of degree.
Job Duties
- Administer Box Enterprise, including user provisioning, access management, folder administration, collaboration support, and secure file transfer processes.
- Provide administrative and operational support for additional Research Administration applications, including Proofig AI, TriNetX, ClinDEN, Elsevier Pure, and other applications as assigned.
- Administer and support the Open Specimen platform, including user access management, collection protocol configuration, and troubleshooting activities.
- Partner with research laboratories and stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize Open Specimen collection protocols and establish efficient processes using the application.
- Deliver training, consultation, and ongoing support to users, promoting adoption of Open Specimen best practices and effective system utilization.
- Work closely with the Open Specimen Technical Lead to implement advanced platform functionality, coordinate system integrations, and support application upgrades and enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, data governance standards, regulatory requirements, and applicable privacy regulations, including HIPAA.
- Monitor system performance and coordinate platform upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance activities to ensure optimal functionality and reliability, including testing and validation.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and process improvement initiatives, while supporting integrations.
- Serve as a business analyst and project management resource for technology and operational initiatives, gathering requirements, coordinating with stakeholders, facilitating project activities, and supporting successful project delivery as needed.
