Our client is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to help protect and strengthen the organization's security environment, with a strong focus on the Microsoft security ecosystem.
Responsibilities- Monitor and investigate security alerts, incidents, and threats.
- Administer and support Microsoft Azure, Defender, Sentinel, and Purview.
- Support DLP, data classification, information protection, and security policies.
- Assist with vulnerability management, remediation, and security assessments.
- Support identity and access security within Microsoft Entra .
- Partner with IT, infrastructure, and operations teams to improve security controls.
- Maintain security documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements.
- 3+ years of cybersecurity or security operations experience.
- Hands-on experience with Azure, Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Purview.
- Understanding of incident response, threat detection, vulnerability management, and cloud security.
- Experience with DLP, data classification, and identity/access management.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Microsoft security certifications are a plus.
