- Administer and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6, 7, 8, and 9 operating systems
- Perform firmware patching and ongoing firmware patch management
- Support antivirus management within enterprise environments
- Perform vulnerability management activities
- Perform and support data backup and recovery activities
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate repetitive system administration tasks
- Utilize scheduling tools to prioritize jobs across constrained computing resources
- Provide IT customer support and service delivery
- Support the ongoing reliability, security, and operation of assigned systems and infrastructure
- Experience with firmware patching and patch management
- Experience with vulnerability management
- Experience with data backup and recovery
- Experience scripting or automating repetitive system administration tasks
- Experience supporting antivirus and endpoint security management
- Experience utilizing scheduling tools to prioritize workloads and system resources
- Hands‑on system administration experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6, 7, 8, and 9
- IT customer support or service delivery experience
- Must reside within the Fort Worth/Dallas, TX area
- Experience with Solaris 10 and 11 desired
- Experience with SuSE Linux desired
- Crowd Strike and/or Trellix experience desired
- Nessus/Tenable Agent experience desired
- Ansible experience desired
- Service Central experience is a plus
Demonstrates expertise in administering and supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) operating systems, with a strong focus on firmware patch management, vulnerability management, and automation of system administration tasks. Proven ability to provide IT customer support and ensure the reliability and security of systems and infrastructure.
