What you’ll be doing

What will your essential responsibilities include?

• Pre-underwrites, evaluates risk, and assesses completeness of the underwriting package before underwriting review. Communicate with Brokers on behalf of Underwriters to collect account and insured information necessary for risk analysis.
• Apply knowledge of line of business specific product underwriting rules and guidelines for pre-analysis support of submission in preparation for quoting.
• Develop initial pricing, basic coverage structuring, quotation, and binder packages for the risk on behalf of the Underwriter.
• Collaborate with Underwriters, Brokers, Reinsurers, and internal units to manage the status and workflow of multiple tasks and accounts.
• Communicate account status to ensure completion of outstanding subjectivities needed to execute policy issuance and premium collection for bound accounts.
• Develop initial pricing, basic coverage structuring, quotation, and binder packages for the underwriter. Calculate base rating and apply experience modifications as part of the underwriting package completed by the Underwriting Support Unit for Underwriter review.
• Manage the workflow of multiple tasks and maintain a detailed understanding of the status of tasks owned by Underwriters, Brokers, Reinsurers, and the internal AXA XL network.
• Communicate account status to ensure completion of all tasks including premium collection for bound accounts.
• Collaborate and correspond verbally and in writing with internal and external contacts across the country, considering time zone differences to achieve a high level of service and meet client expectations.

• Robust collaborative skills in a fast-paced, team-centric environment.
