Overview
Language Services Associates is looking for Afghani/Dari interpreters in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area. As a member of LSA’s network of independently contracted interpreters, you will be responsible for facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings.
Responsibilities- Provide superior customer service
- Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
- Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry-specific best practices
- Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients
- Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner
- Access to personal or public transport
- Full fluency in both English and Afghani/Dari
- Ability to provide a high level of client service
- 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred
- Industry-specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)
