Overview
Medium-sized, North Dallas law firm is looking to fill a full-time BILINGUAL Litigation Paralegal position. The Paralegal should have at least 5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation or personal injury. The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. The paralegal will be expected to handle their own docket of cases, including working up the case, and preparing the case to go to trial in the event the case is not resolved.
Qualified applicants should have litigation experience in Insurance Defense or personal injury.
- Prepare and respond to written discovery requests
- Order records
- Medical chronologies
- Witness interviews
- Interact with clients, courts, opposing counsel, mediators, and experts
- Assist attorneys with deposition and hearing preparation
- Trial preparation
- 5+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation or personal injury
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage own docket and prepare cases for trial
- Knowledge of court rules and procedures; ability to prioritize tasks
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience handling a large caseload
- Bi-lingual capability (preferred)
