Attorney​/Lawyer

Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This Contract to permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to handle a variety of legal responsibilities, including strategizing cases, managing litigation, and providing expert legal counsel. Responsibilities:

- Manage assigned legal cases with a focus on insurance defense, ensuring thorough preparation and strategic planning.

- Develop and maintain detailed case files, including pleadings, briefs, and memorandums.

- Collaborate with claims handlers to provide regular updates and timely status reports on case developments.

- Utilize case management software to organize case notes, schedules, billing, and other essential documentation.

- Draft motions, briefs, and discovery documents to support litigation efforts.

- Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure effective representation and advocacy.

- Maintain compliance with ethical standards and company guidelines in all legal activities.

- Participate in courtroom proceedings, including trials, hearings, and mediations.

- Travel as necessary to meet case-related requirements.

- Work closely with clients and colleagues to address legal challenges and provide sound advice. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a trial attorney, with a focus on civil litigation.

- Active membership in the State Bar, maintaining required licensing and continuing education.

- Prior experience in insurance defense is highly preferred.

- Proficiency in drafting motions, briefs, and discovery documentation.

- Strong organizational skills for managing detailed case files and legal strategies.

- Familiarity with case management software for efficient documentation and scheduling.

- Ability to travel as needed to meet case demands.

- Commitment to maintaining ethical and detail-oriented standards in all legal practices.
