Job Description & How to Apply Below

A leading international law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate with 3–8 years’ post-qualification experience to join its highly regarded Texas-based real estate team.

The successful candidate will have experience gained in a large or well-established law firm, advising on complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, development projects, financings and refinancings, leasing, and joint ventures. The role requires excellent organisational and project-management skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple work streams independently while collaborating closely with colleagues.

A strong academic background is essential, along with the confidence and capability to take on significant responsibility and meaningful client interaction.

The Practice

You will join a nationally recognised Real Estate practice advising major institutional investors, developers, lenders, and corporate occupiers across a broad range of asset classes, including office, industrial, retail, mixed‑use, and other large‑scale commercial developments.

The team advises on all stages of commercial real estate transactions, from structuring and negotiation through to closing and post‑completion matters. Work includes major leasing projects such as build‑to‑suit and headquarters leases connected with corporate relocations, expansions, and renewals, as well as complex joint ventures, capital‑intensive development schemes, and sophisticated financing transactions across the U.S. and internationally.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an associate seeking:

  • A broad‑based and high‑quality real estate practice
  • Early ownership of significant work streams
  • Direct access to partners and senior decision‑makers
  • Exposure to high‑value, complex matters
  • A collaborative, supportive environment with a clear platform for long‑term progression
Candidate Profile
  • 3–5 years’ experience in commercial real estate
  • Strong technical skills and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage complex matters with minimal supervision
  • Team‑oriented mindset with confidence to take initiative
