A leading AmLaw-ranked law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its dynamic Litigation Group in Dallas. This is a full-time, partnership-track opportunity offering exposure to sophisticated, high-stakes litigation matters in both state and federal courts.
This role is ideal for attorneys looking to build deep litigation experience within a nationally recognized platform while working closely with seasoned trial lawyers on complex disputes.
Responsibilities- Analyze, research, and draft briefs addressing sophisticated legal issues
- Handle motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, and class certification motions
- Assist with writs and appellate matters
- Participate in trial preparation and court appearances
- Take and defend depositions
- Manage case strategy and litigation timelines
- Collaborate closely with partners and litigation teams on complex disputes
- 1–4 years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm setting
- Strong experience drafting motions and complex legal briefs
- Trial preparation and court appearance experience preferred
- Experience taking and defending depositions
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a fast-paced workload and take ownership of matters
- Admitted to the Texas Bar
- Work within a nationally recognized, top-tier litigation practice
- Exposure to sophisticated, complex commercial litigation matters
- Meaningful responsibility early in your career
- Strong mentorship and hands‑on courtroom experience
- Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package
💰 $225,000–$310,000 annually, commensurate with experience, qualifications, market factors, and internal equity, plus bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package.
