Litigation Legal Assistant

• Draft, revise, and format correspondence, pleadings, and legal documents
• Handle e‑filing with state and local courts
• Manage calendars, deadlines, hearings, and appointments
• Open and maintain client files from intake through close
• Coordinate service of process, subpoenas, and records requests
• Communicate with clients, court staff, vendors, and opposing counsel
• Maintain accurate time entries and organized electronic files

• Prior experience as a legal assistant in a law firm
• Insurance defense and/or personal injury defense experience
• Strong attention to detail and document‑handling skills
• Comfortable juggling multiple deadlines and priorities
• Professional communication style and proactive mindset
