About the Firm
A highly regarded, nationally recognized law firm is seeking a skilled Mid-Level IP Litigation Associate to join its Intellectual Property practice in Texas. The firm represents both patent owners and accused infringers in complex, high-stakes technology disputes across multiple forums.
This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated patent litigation matters before federal district courts, the International Trade Commission, and the USPTO in PTAB proceedings.
Responsibilities:
• Represent patent owners and accused infringers in complex patent litigation matters
• Handle cases in federal district courts, the ITC, and PTAB proceedings
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials
• Manage fact and expert discovery, including depositions
• Collaborate with technical experts and litigation teams on cutting-edge technology disputes
• Support trial strategy and case development
Qualifications:
✔️ 3–5 years of patent litigation experience
✔️ Experience before district courts, ITC, and/or PTAB preferred
✔️ Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical background
✔️ USPTO registration is a plus (not required)
✔️ Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
✔️ Admitted to the Texas State Bar

💰 Compensation: $260,000–$365,000 annually (based on experience and market factors), plus bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package.
