Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal

LHH is seeking a seasoned Defense Litigation Paralegal with 5+ years of insurance defense / personal injury defense experience to support attorneys handling cases from inception through close. This is a hands‑on role for someone who knows the lifecycle of a defense file and can anticipate what comes next.

This position offers strong collaboration, clear expectations, and predictable hours.

You’ll be deeply embedded in the litigation process, including:

• Managing defense litigation files from intake through resolution
• Drafting and preparing pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, and correspondence
• Coordinating and managing discovery, including document collection, review, and production
• Preparing deposition materials, summaries, and trial binders
• Filing documents with state and local courts (including e‑filing)
• Tracking deadlines, hearings, and court calendars to ensure compliance
• Communicating with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Assisting attorneys with case strategy by keeping files organized, proactive, and trial‑ready
• Maintaining accurate timekeeping and case documentation

This is a role for a paralegal who knows defense litigation cold and takes pride in running a clean, organized, defensible file.
