Position

Experienced Procurement Agent – Boeing Distribution, Inc. (Boeing Global Services – Systems & Components Distribution Business), Dallas, TX.

• Deliver savings and inventory requirements in line with commodity and business strategies.
• Conduct market analysis and implement long‑term agreements to support savings and inventory goals.
• Use business analysis to determine need for orders that meet global procurement requirements.
• Select suppliers, negotiate pricing, issue purchase orders, re‑align deliveries, and expedite as necessary.
• Analyze assigned part numbers and manage queue to ensure timely availability.
• Collaborate with the Sales department on customer requests to determine the best course of action.
• Work cross‑functionally with suppliers and internal teams on payment issue resolution.
• Work with the Quality department on defective or unacceptable goods and determine corrective actions.
• Perform supply planning by evaluating inventory levels, safety stock, validating forecasts, and selecting approved suppliers to determine investment strategy.
• Prepare and negotiate packages with suppliers to drive increased savings opportunities.
• Execute strategic initiatives and develop new opportunities for the business.
• Confirm purchase‑order acknowledgments, verify accuracy of PO details, and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain awareness of departmental key deliverables and how buying decisions impact them.
• Provide expertise on business processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Train other team members on procurement activities and best practices.

• 3+ years of procurement or supply‑chain experience.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Procurement to Pay (PTP).
• Experience with spares pricing and lead‑time negotiations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements (citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).

• APICS CPIM certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply‑Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in a distribution business environment.
• Commodity or product knowledge.
• Direct interaction with suppliers regarding contract requirements and proposals.
• Proactive engagement with program stakeholders.
• Continuous review and analysis of demand and supply to support sourcing strategies.
• Data analysis for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities.
• Collaboration with internal teams to achieve process efficiencies.

• Travel: up to 10% of the time.
