- Logistics Coordinator (Supply Chain & Import Specialist)
- A prominent Tier II automotive and residential A/C parts manufacturer is seeking a hands-on Logistics Coordinator to support the reorganization and optimization of its logistics department. This position manages the end-to-end supply chain lifecycle: receiving customer orders, generating purchase orders, coordinating production schedules with manufacturing facilities in Mexico, and managing international import logistics. - Coordinate directly with manufacturing plants in Mexico to place production orders and monitor fulfillment timelines.
- Arrange and optimize international and domestic shipment logistics, including navigating the US-Mexico import process.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate rates with freight forwarders and transportation carriers for both air and ocean freight.
- Troubleshoot supply chain bottlenecks, customs delays, and transit issues to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation, compliance records, and inventory data within the internal system.
- 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday – Friday)
- Exempt position
- $60K - $80K (Fixed base salary; based on experience)
- Health, Dental, and Life Insurance (80% company-paid; group policy or company subsidy option)
- 401(k) Plan (No company match)
- Relocation assistance considered for out-of-state candidates
- Saturday, Sunday, and Standard Company/National Holidays
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding.
- Proven experience managing US-Mexico cross-border logistics and import/customs processes.
- Strong operational knowledge of sourcing and arranging both air and ocean freight.
- Proficiency in utilizing ERP systems (such as SAP) and Microsoft Excel for data tracking.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- High growth potential; looking for an individual eager to grow alongside the department.
