Sourcing Manager (Clinical Operations / R&D)

The Sourcing Manager will lead strategic sourcing initiatives primarily within the Clinical Operations and R&D category, with opportunities to support additional indirect procurement areas as needed. This role partners closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to drive value through effective supplier selection, contract negotiations, and spend optimization.

• Lead sourcing activities including RFPs, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and supplier onboarding
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize cost, cash flow, and supplier performance
• Analyze and track spend to identify savings opportunities and value‑creation initiatives
• Partner cross‑functionally to understand business needs and align sourcing strategies accordingly
• Manage supplier performance through SLAs and KPIs to support ongoing and future negotiations
• Support global sourcing efforts, including clinical trial‑related services, as required

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive procurement experience, including strategic sourcing, cost modeling, and category management
• Strong experience in indirect/services procurement; global clinical trial sourcing experience preferred
• Pharma, biotech, or life sciences experience with knowledge of drug development processes strongly desired
• Proven negotiation skills with strong business and financial acumen
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders
• CPM or CPSM certification is a plus

• Master’s degree or MBA preferred
