Procurement Manager (Level K) – First Line Leader
Location:
Dallas, TX
This role supports the Supplier Performance Team and is 100% onsite.
Position Responsibilities- Manages employees performing supply chain activities within Product Support.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvements.
- Builds and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Completion of an assessment is mandatory for consideration; failure to complete will disqualify the applicant.
Basic Qualifications (Required)- At least one year of leadership experience (team leader, manager, or cross‑functional project/program manager) or completion of Boeing’s internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
- 5+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Supply Chain, or Procurement practices.
- 5+ years in a fast‑paced environment requiring strong communication with program leaders and customers.
- 5+ years leading teams formally or informally in a cross‑functional setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience leading independently and collaboratively.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Experience in Repair Management and/or Materials Management.
Export Control Compliance: The candidate must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15. No visa sponsorship will be provided.
Shift: First shift.
Relocation: Relocation assistance is not available; candidates must reside in the Dallas area or relocate at their own expense.
Drug‑free Workplace: All employees will be subject to drug testing per Boeing policies.
Benefits and CompensationCompetitive base pay with variable compensation opportunities. Additional benefits include health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, and paid and unpaid time off. Pay range: $101,000 – $144,000.
