ThePosition
The Inventory Planner ensures the right products are available at the right time to meet customer demand while maintaining lean, efficient inventory levels. This role supports growth by managing vendor relationships, controlling costs, and protecting profit margins. It combines daily operational execution with strategic projects, offering opportunities for professional development and advancement within the organization.
Primary responsibilities include:- Analyze data and market trends to forecast growth opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
- Protect company margins by aligning plans with customer needs and business objectives.
- Identify and resolve operational roadblocks to maintain team momentum and performance.
- Build and manage strong vendor and team relationships to ensure efficient inventory flow and reliable partnerships.
- Drive continuous improvement by tracking results, suggesting process enhancements, and providing constructive feedback.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3 years in purchasing, procurement, or similar experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to customers, coworkers, and external vendors.
- Proficiency with CRM or ERP systems preferred.
