This position is responsible for managing import shipments from origin through to final delivery, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and shipments are handled efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate international air and ocean import shipments from A–Z
• Arrange bookings with overseas offices, agents, and carriers
• Prepare and review import documentation, ensuring compliance with Customs and regulatory requirements
• Monitor shipments and proactively communicate updates to customers
• Coordinate customs clearance with brokers and government agencies
• Arrange final delivery with trucking companies and warehouses
• Resolve shipment delays, discrepancies, and customer inquiries
• Process invoices and verify vendor charges
• Maintain accurate shipment records within the freight forwarding system
• Build strong relationships with customers, carriers, and overseas partners

Requirements

• 2+ years of air and ocean import freight forwarding experience
• Strong understanding of international import procedures and documentation
• Experience coordinating shipments from origin to final delivery
• Knowledge of U.S. Customs import processes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments
