Job Summary

The Supply Planning Analyst is responsible for end-to-end planning and management for assigned suppliers. The role will develop a constrained production plan and deployment recommendations using appropriate planning tools in support of the S&OP process, manage service performance, inventory levels, and provide thorough purchase plans to ensure suppliers support inventory needs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a monthly supply plan based on projected purchases to drive product availability to distributors.
  • Work closely with Procurement and directly with major suppliers so they can meet purchase plans without shortages.
  • Analyze supply and demand imbalances and facilitate resolution across the supply chain.
  • Monitor supplier performance KPIs and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Incorporate inventory planning for highly seasonal and promoted products and ensure distributor inventory settings are updated accordingly.
  • Create and submit purchase orders to assigned suppliers for replenishment of fulfillment centers.
  • Allocate constrained parts in close coordination with the commercial team.
  • Assist in quantifying and defining the scope for capacity, resource, logistics, and supply chain planning.
  • Develop into a super user of planning tools.
Basic Qualifications
  • 1‑2 years of experience in supply chain, operations, or a related field.
  • BA/BS degree in supply chain, logistics, business, technical, or an equivalent discipline.
  • Strong internal‑customer orientation and ability to diagnose and resolve complex SCM problems with urgency.
  • Experience in end‑to‑end supply chain management involving distribution, inventory management, and project management.
  • Strong quantitative skills and ability to analyze SCM problems and develop solutions.
  • Passion for driving continuous improvement through root‑cause analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • APICS certification.
  • Green Belt Certification.
  • Familiarity with lean Six Sigma tools, methodologies, and disciplines.
  • Knowledge of forecasting, Master Production Scheduling, Material Requirements Planning, Finite Scheduling, and Distribution Requirements Planning.
