We're partnering with a rapidly growing national wholesale distribution organization seeking a Vice President of Supply Chain Automation to lead one of the most impactful supply chain modernization initiatives in the industry.

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a multi-year automation journey, leading the implementation of a new WMS, robotics, and advanced warehouse technologies at a flagship distribution center before expanding those solutions across a national network.

• Lead the full implementation of a new WMS and warehouse automation initiative.
• Drive robotics implementation and automation projects from proof of concept through deployment.
• Remove implementation roadblocks and ensure projects remain on schedule and deliver expected results.
• Partner closely with operations, engineering, IT, and executive leadership throughout implementation.
• Oversee process improvements that increase productivity, accuracy, throughput, and scalability.
• Manage internal resources and external implementation consultants to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Once the flagship distribution center implementation is complete, lead expansion efforts across additional distribution facilities.
• Leverage emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning, to modernize supply chain operations.
• Serve as a hands-on player-coach, remaining actively involved in execution while developing your team.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive supply chain, distribution, logistics, or warehouse leadership experience.
• Experience advancing from distribution center or warehouse operations into automation and systems implementation leadership.
• Proven success leading a full Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation.
• Distribution center management and optimization experience.
• Experience leading automation initiatives involving robotics is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success modernizing supply chain operations through technology, automation, AI, or machine learning.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead large cross-functional initiatives.
• Collaborative leadership style with exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Minimum of 5 years leading teams.
• Preferred Industry Background
• Experience with in large-scale wholesale distribution environments is highly preferred, particularly organizations serving contractor or industrial markets.
