Procurement / Purchasing, Inventory Control & Analysis
Grid is a growing manufacturing company that designs, sells, and builds lockers and sports flooring for the fitness industry. We're not just building products — we're building a brand, backed by best-in-class technology, a best-in-class team, and a culture that puts people first.
We know sports and fitness. When an expert is needed, we're the resource — helping clients navigate construction with a streamlined, modern process from start to finish. We stand behind our products, and we win with our service.
The RoleGrid is looking for a hands‑on, experienced Buyer/Planner to lead our supply chain and vendor relationships. Reporting directly to the President, you'll ensure our inventory levels and raw materials keep pace with production schedules — and that our 3rd-party vendor partnerships align with Grid's growth goals.
You'll work cross‑functionally with business unit leaders, deliver weekly inventory reporting, and flag risks before they become failures. This is a role for someone who thrives on ownership, moves fast, and is excited to build better systems as we scale.
What You'll Do- Manage purchasing and inventory levels, including reporting
- Create and release Purchase Orders through our ERP, confirming order acknowledgements and accuracy
- Maintain inventory records, set Min/Max auto‑repurchasing positions, and verify pricing and lead times
- Build strong vendor relationships that support Grid's strategic growth
- Expedite and resolve supply chain issues as they arise
- Identify process improvements and present them to leadership quarterly
- Collaborate across departments to support operational excellence
- Represent Grid's brand and professionalism in every interaction
- Take on additional projects as needed — we move fast and wear many hats
- 3+ years of experience as a Purchasing Agent
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing
- Proven track record managing vendor relationships and purchasing operations
- Strong technical fluency with ERPs, MRPs, and supply chain systems
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- A creative problem‑solver who's built and improved processes before
- A collaborative team player who leads by example
We're building something different — a company where efficiency, accountability, and culture go hand in hand. If you're an agile, hands‑on operator who wants to help shape a growing team from the ground up, we'd love to talk.
