A rapidly growing organization at the forefront of large-scale data center and high-performance computing development is seeking an EPC Infrastructure Manager to oversee the commercial execution of major mission-critical infrastructure projects. This individual will serve as the commercial owner of post-award EPC agreements, ensuring successful project delivery from notice to proceed through construction closeout.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in EPC contract administration, commercial management, and large-scale capital projects. This role is highly visible and will work closely with construction, engineering, procurement, finance, and legal teams to protect project schedules, control costs, and manage the successful integration of owner-furnished equipment into EPC-delivered infrastructure.

ResponsibilitiesEPC Contract Administration
  • Serve as the primary commercial lead for all post-award EPC contract execution activities.
  • Manage the day-to-day administration of EPC agreements through project completion.
  • Lead the review, evaluation, negotiation, and disposition of change orders and contract modifications.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with contractual obligations related to scope, schedule, deliverables, insurance, bonding, reporting, and project execution.
  • Administer progress payments, including review of pay applications, verification of earned value, stored materials, retention, and lien waiver documentation.
  • Manage claims, disputes, back-charges, and liquidated damages while driving timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of all commercial correspondence, contract modifications, and project documentation.
OFCI-to-EPC Interface Management
  • Serve as the commercial point of contact between owner-furnished mechanical and electrical equipment suppliers and EPC contractors.
  • Coordinate with procurement and project teams to ensure equipment delivery schedules align with construction sequencing requirements.
  • Identify and elevate schedule or cost risks associated with equipment procurement and installation.
  • Manage responsibility allocation between equipment manufacturers, logistics providers, contractors, and ownership teams.
  • Oversee receiving, offloading, storage, and installation obligations associated with owner-furnished equipment.
  • Support warranty management and issue resolution related to critical project equipment.
Commercial Risk Management
  • Track project exposure, forecasted costs, pending changes, and unresolved commercial risks.
  • Partner with project controls, finance, and legal teams to provide accurate cost reporting and forecasting.
  • Evaluate RFIs, design revisions, submittals, and project changes for commercial impacts.
  • Identify potential scope gaps and scope creep before they become contractual disputes.
  • Develop mitigation strategies to minimize risk and maintain project financial performance.
Project Closeout & Warranty
  • Lead contractual closeout activities, including punch list completion, final payment processing, retention release, and lien resolution.
  • Coordinate turnover documentation and warranty packages.
  • Ensure warranty obligations are properly documented, transferred, and enforceable following project completion.
  • Support operational teams during project transition and warranty periods.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in EPC contract administration, commercial management, construction contracts, or owner's representative services.
  • Experience managing post-award EPC, EPCM, Design-Build, or similar construction agreements valued at $50M+.
  • Strong understanding of construction contract language, general conditions, change management procedures, and claims administration.
  • Demonstrated success managing change orders, claims, back-charges, and dispute resolution.
  • Knowledge of progress billing procedures including schedule of values, earned value management, stored materials, retention, and lien waivers.
  • Ability to interpret and administer complex EPC agreements with minimal oversight.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Data center, mission-critical, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, energy, or heavy industrial construction experience.
  • Experience with owner-furnished equipment (OFCI/CFCI) delivery models.
  • Familiarity with major mechanical and electrical infrastructure systems, including:
    • Chillers
    • Cooling towers
    • Air handling systems
    • Generators
    • UPS systems
    • Medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution
    • Switchgear and paralleling equipment
  • Experience utilizing construction management platforms such as Procore, Kahua, e-Builder, or similar systems.
  • ERP experience, including Dynamics 365 or comparable enterprise systems.
  • Professional certifications such as CCM, PMP, or related credentials.
