Our client is seeking an experienced professional to support global trade compliance and inventory optimization initiatives within a complex international supply chain environment. This role will partner cross-functionally with operations, procurement, logistics, and distribution teams to ensure compliance with international trade regulations while driving supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Support global import and export compliance activities across multiple regions
- Ensure compliance with international customs regulations, export controls, and sanctions requirements
- Manage HTS classification, country of origin determinations, and trade documentation processes
- Monitor regulatory changes and support implementation of compliance initiatives
- Assist with inventory control and inventory optimization efforts
- Develop and track operational KPIs to drive performance improvements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, distribution centers, and third-party partners to support trade and logistics operations
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field
- Strong experience in international trade compliance
- Proven background supporting global import/export compliance programs
- Knowledge of international customs regulations, export controls, sanctions compliance, HTS classification, and country of origin requirements
- Experience with in manufacturing, distribution, or global supply chain environments
- Experience working with SAP or a similar ERP system
- Inventory control and inventory optimization experience
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills
- International customs compliance expertise
- Strong understanding of export controls regulations
- Experience managing duty drawback programs
- Familiarity with CBAM, REACH, EUDR, Prop 65, PFAS, HTS, COO, and FMD regulatory requirements
- Experience supporting Regional Distribution Centers in multiple global locations
- Experience establishing and measuring operational KPIs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments
- Detail-oriented professional with a continuous improvement mindset
