At Boldt, we build more than complex projects, and we build strong relationships, great teams, and lasting impact.
As a Senior Project Manager, Commercial & Contracts Management, you will serve as a strategic commercial leader responsible for the procurement, negotiation, administration, and performance management of commercial relationships on large, complex construction projects. Partnering closely with project leadership, the functional leads for legal, estimating, procurement, finance, and field teams, you will develop subcontracting strategies, create trade scopes and bid packages, evaluate proposals, negotiate contract terms, and ensure subcontract agreements align with project objectives, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies.
This role is critical in protecting Boldt's interests while building strong, collaborative relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, owners, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
You will lead commercial risk identification and mitigation efforts, support project teams in understanding contractual obligations, and drive resolution of contract-related issues including notice, scope changes, claims, delays, and performance concerns. Working alongside project teams, you will monitor contractual commitments, change orders, forecasts, and commercial exposure while supporting project reporting on contract status, cost performance, profitability, and cash flow. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement strategy, project controls, and commercial leadership, along with the ability to foster a culture of accountability, trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement that contributes to successful project delivery.
