Procurement Analyst

Forward Air is seeking a Procurement Analyst to support strategic sourcing across our fast-paced transportation and warehousing network. In this role, you will analyze supplier performance, negotiate pricing and contracts, and optimize purchasing of transportation, equipment, and services. You'll develop spend reports, track KPIs, and partner with operations to ensure reliable, cost-effective supply that meets safety and service standards. Responsibilities

• Analyze spend data and supplier performance to identify savings and process improvements
• Support sourcing events, RFQs, and contract negotiations for transportation, equipment, and services
• Maintain supplier records, pricing, and contracts in procurement/ERP systems
• Develop and distribute regular spend, KPI, and performance reports for stakeholders
• Partner with operations and finance to align purchasing with service, safety, and budget goals
• Monitor market trends and cost drivers to inform sourcing strategies
• Support implementation of new suppliers and contracts across locations
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement best practices
