Sky Chefs is seeking a Tower Planner to coordinate daily inflight catering schedules for major airline customers. In this on-site operations role, you will plan production and loading activities, align kitchen and logistics resources, and respond to real-time flight changes to ensure on-time, accurate delivery of meals and services. Working closely with operations, logistics, and airline teams, you will maintain tower plans, validate catering counts, and support safety, food quality, and aviation compliance.

This position suits detail-focused planners who thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 aviation and hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate daily production and flight schedules for inflight catering operations
  • Create, update and optimize load plans and tower schedules to meet airline requirements
  • Monitor real-time flight changes, delays and disruptions and adjust plans accordingly
  • Collaborate with kitchen, warehousing and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery to aircraft
  • Validate catering counts, special meals and last-minute changes with airline partners
  • Use planning and ERP systems to track capacity, resources and inventory constraints
  • Communicate priorities, cut-off times and schedule changes to operations staff and leadership
  • Analyze performance data to improve on-time performance and resource utilization
  • Ensure compliance with aviation safety, food safety and security standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and standard operating procedures in tower planning
