The company is experiencing continued growth and is seeking a hands-on leader to strengthen service operations, improve processes, and drive aftermarket growth across multiple product lines.

Job Summary
Location: Dallas, TX
Compensation: $140,000–$160,000 base salary + 20% bonus opportunity
The Director of Service & Spare Parts will lead North American aftermarket operations, including service operations, technical support, field service execution, and spare parts strategy.
This role will be responsible for developing and improving service processes, strengthening customer support, optimizing inventory strategies, and leading teams across multiple product lines. The ideal candidate will have experience within industrial machinery, process equipment, or a related manufacturing environment and will bring strong technical, operational, and leadership experience.
Director Of Service & Spare Parts Responsibilities
- Lead North American service operations, technical support functions, field service activities, and spare parts operations.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives focused on service growth, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing service and aftermarket team.
- Oversee service workflows, technical escalations, warranty processes, and customer issue resolution.
- Manage complex customer relationships and service escalations while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute spare parts strategies, including:
- Inventory planning
- Forecasting
- Stocking strategies
- Parts availability
- Margin optimization
- Lifecycle support planning
- Analyze equipment data, consumption trends, and customer demand patterns to improve inventory performance.
- Establish processes and methodologies for parts analysis and stocking level optimization.
- Support aftermarket growth across multiple product lines, including coffee, chocolate/cocoa, and nut processing equipment.
- Lead cross-training initiatives to improve technical knowledge and collaboration across product lines.
- Support equipment commissioning, startup coordination, customer handoff, and warranty support activities.
- Partner cross-functionally with sales, engineering, operations, supply chain, and finance teams.
- Collaborate with global teams and international stakeholders to align service standards and operational processes.
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies utilizing ERP and service management systems.
- Support ERP system improvements, data organization, and process standardization.
- Establish and monitor KPIs related to:
- Service responsiveness
- Technician utilization
- Customer satisfaction
- Inventory performance
- Aftermarket profitability
- Travel up to 30% as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within industrial machinery, process equipment, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Strong background in:
- Field service operations
- Technical support
- Spare parts management
- Inventory strategy
- Aftermarket operations
- Experience working directly with end customers in an industrial equipment environment preferred.
- Ability to manage difficult customer situations and operate effectively under pressure.
