Job Details: 1st Shift – 6 am‑4 pm Monday‑Friday, Saturday if needed.
Base Pay: $34.50–$38.50 per hour.
- Diagnose and repair complex electro‑mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment.
- Perform detailed setup on equipment, including recipe changes and control adjustments.
- Repair and maintain mechanical machine components in optimal operating condition.
- Apply advanced knowledge of electrical principles such as voltage, current, and resistance.
- Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, photo‑eyes, etc.
- Apply advanced understanding of electrical safety, motor‑control circuits and programmable drives.
- Troubleshoot PLC inputs and outputs and resolve issues.
- Complete projects adding electrical circuits and controls, new equipment, and relocating machines.
- Maintain and repair pneumatic systems, including cylinder repairs.
- Perform simple to complex mechanical preventive maintenance tasks following instructions.
- Enter all work into computer‑based maintenance program.
- Monitor and report spare‑parts usage, including submitting parts‑order forms.
- Adjust equipment based on statistical process control data and teamwork with quality assurance.
- Train technicians at all skill levels on complex tasks and skills.
- Oversee direct reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 7–10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of and experience with Lock‑Out/Tag‑Out procedures.
- Strict adherence to safety policies and commitment to customer quality.
- Availability for regular standby assignments and off‑hour or emergency overtime.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and CMMS systems.
- Willingness to attend training sessions, including out‑of‑state locations.
- Ability to train all levels of technicians.
- Intermediate fabrication knowledge (e.g., welding, basic machining).
- Strong work ethic and intermediate troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read printed materials, blueprints, schematics, and computer graphics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team, building cooperative relationships with employees, vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
- Attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
- Bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus.
