BHS Maintenance Technician - DAL Airport

Responsibilities

Keep our critical systems running smoothly by handling repairs and maintenance on various mechanical systems. This includes working with bearings, gearboxes, drive belts, and conveyor systems. You'll be the go-to person for troubleshooting mechanical issues and finding practical solutions.

• At least 2 years of experience working in an aviation environment, specifically with baggage conveyor systems
• 3G or higher welding certification
• Proven experience with welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding
• Strong knowledge of oxygen acetylene torch operation
• Expertise in light metal fabrication
• Proficiency with both hand and power tools
• Experience in mechanical maintenance
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Must possess a Government  social security card
• Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge
• Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation
• Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
• Able to receive appropriate security clearances after completing a criminal background check
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
