Location:

HSC Dallas Jn – 3302 Gaston Avenue, Dallas, TX 75246 (openings at other locations within school district available). Online applications accepted only.

Schedule:

Part‑time, Monday through Friday, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Full and part‑time flexible options available.

Pay: $15.00–$18.50 per hour.

Job Summary:

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surface.
• Performs carpet and upholstery care, including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
