KPM is looking for a Lead Maintenance to join the team at our Dallas, TX property! This is a full‑time position and compensation will range based on experience. The Lead Maintenance role is responsible for overseeing the physical property, general maintenance repairs, apartment make‑ready, preventative maintenance, and construction/rehabilitation projects.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, schedule, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and units.
  • Coordinate and schedule appropriate safety and skills training for maintenance employees.
  • Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
  • Oversee maintenance staff, prepare weekly maintenance schedules, and allocate work to appropriate team members.
  • Contribute to the development of the overall maintenance budget and ensure compliance at the property.
  • Monitor inventory of materials and equipment and replenish as needed.
  • Perform other duties assigned.
Requirements
  • 300+ units and 3+ years experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or related role.
  • HVAC and EPA certified.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
  • Must be flexible and dependable.
  • Must be a team player.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
  • Push, pull, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, and reach above shoulders.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work indoors/outdoors or in extreme weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work weekends and/or evenings on a rotating schedule.
