About the Role
Scenic Property Group is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the Embassy Suites Dallas Love Field. This role is ideal for a hands-on hotel leader who thrives in a full-service environment and is passionate about driving results through strong leadership, financial acumen, and exceptional guest and team experiences.
The General Manager is responsible for overall hotel performance, including financial results, guest satisfaction, team development, brand standards, and asset integrity-while fostering a positive, service-driven culture aligned with Scenic Property Group values.
What You'll Do
As General Manager, you will:
- Lead all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring profitability through revenue growth, cost control, and operational excellence
- Drive guest satisfaction and brand loyalty by maintaining high service standards across all departments
- Partner with Sales leadership to support top accounts, client relationships, and on-property sales efforts
- Develop, coach, and mentor department leaders and future hospitality leaders
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reviews, and monthly re-forecasting
- Ensure compliance with all Scenic Property Group policies, brand standards, and regulatory requirements
- Actively participate in hiring, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives
- Maintain visibility on property-interacting with guests, supporting teams, and ensuring a strong leadership presence
- Protect and enhance the physical asset through regular inspections and preventative maintenance oversight
Experience & Education
- Minimum 6 years of progressive hotel leadership experience, preferably in a full-service or upscale environment
- OR a combination of education and experience (college degree plus 4-6 years of hotel leadership experience)
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing management teams
- Strong financial literacy, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
- Excellent communication skills-verbal and written
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve complex operational challenges
- Commitment to guest service excellence and employee engagement
- Valid driver's license (Texas)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Light physical work; ability to move up to 20 lbs occasionally
