We are searching for an Associate Director for Learning and Development to lead the team that turns business strategy into measurable capability—fast. As Associate Director, Learning & Development (L&D) Strategy, you will oversee an L&D Strategy function that identifies performance gaps, designs high-impact learning solutions, and delivers programs that strengthen leadership, accelerate change adoption, and elevate team effectiveness. You’ll partner closely with senior leaders and external vendors as a trusted advisor—aligning priorities, shaping investment decisions, and ensuring learning drives real outcomes, not just completion rates.

- Lead the L&D Strategy team in conducting thorough needs assessments to identify training needs and performance improvement opportunities aligned to business goals
- Guide recommendations and administration of training plans that improve business results
- Lead the design, development, and execution of enterprise learning programs (e.g., leadership development, change management, team development)
- Ensure consistency in content themes and manage the logistics required for effective delivery at scale
- Act as a senior liaison between internal client organizations, training vendors, and the L&D team
- Provide expert consultation to client leadership on training priorities, budget considerations, and strategic learning decisions
- Shape investment decisions through clear alignment to business outcomes
- Oversee evaluation of training effectiveness using metrics, analytics, and stakeholder feedback
- Drive continuous improvement by guiding the team to analyze data, identify insights, and implement enhancements to content and delivery
- Serve as a technical liaison between L&D, HR Tech, and third-party vendors
- Support internal learning tools and collaborate with Frontline L&D Delivery resources to modernize and improve training effectiveness
- Oversee day-to-day operations and execution of initiatives aligned to strategies developed by higher management
- Lead and develop entry-level and career-level staff; set direction, coach performance, and build a high-performing team culture
- Ensure team priorities are clear, measurable, and aligned to business value
- Proven experience leading an L&D strategy, learning consulting, or capability-building team
- Strong ability to translate business problems into practical learning solutions with measurable outcomes
- Confidence influencing senior stakeholders with clear recommendations, metrics, and business cases
- Comfort partnering with vendors and managing delivery logistics to ensure high-quality execution
- Data-driven mindset with a continuous-improvement approach to learner experience and program impact
- Experience connecting learning strategy with HR technology and third-party platforms/tools
- Change management/transformation for business
- Bachelor’s degree in related field desired
- 5+ years of Learning and Development experience
