The Director of Communications is responsible for leading enCore Energy’s enterprise communications strategy, ensuring consistent, accurate, and compliant messaging across internal audiences, investors, communities, regulators, and the broader market. This role serves as the company’s internal communications lead and strategic owner of investor relations and external communications, partnering closely with external consultants and advisors to execute public‑facing initiatives.
Operating in a highly regulated, publicly traded environment, the Director of Communications works in close collaboration with executive leadership, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Operations to support disclosure obligations, reputation management, and stakeholder trust.
Key Responsibilities Communications Strategy & Governance- Develop and own enCore Energy’s overarching communications strategy and messaging framework.
- Establish governance, processes, and approval workflows for all internal, investor, and external communications.
- Ensure message alignment across internal communications, investor materials, community engagement, and public disclosures.
- Maintain brand standards, tone, and narrative consistency across all channels.
- Lead internal communications strategy to support employee alignment, culture, and change management.
- Draft and oversee executive communications, company‑wide announcements, and leadership talking points.
- Support internal messaging related to organizational changes, acquisitions, and operational milestones.
- Serve as enCore Energy’s internal owner of the investor relations function.
- Partner with external investor relations consultants to develop and execute:
- Earnings releases, scripts, and Q&A materials
- Investor presentations and fact sheets
- Analyst and shareholder communications
- Coordinate closely with Finance, Legal, and executive leadership to ensure Reg FD compliance and disclosure discipline.
- Prepare executives for investor meetings, earnings calls, and conferences.
- Oversee external and corporate communications strategy in collaboration with external PR and communications consultants.
- Review and approve press releases, media materials, and corporate announcements.
- Support executive media preparation and messaging for interviews and public appearances.
- Lead crisis and issues communications strategy, coordinating with consultants as needed.
- Provide strategic oversight and alignment for community and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Ensure consistency between corporate, investor, and community messaging, particularly related to permitting, regulatory processes, and operational developments.
- Partner with internal teams and community engagement resources to manage reputational and stakeholder risk.
- Ensure all communications comply with SEC regulations, disclosure requirements, and legal standards.
- Anticipate communications risks and advise executive leadership on messaging implications.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on communications strategy and stakeholder impact.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
- 10+ years of progressive communications experience, including senior‑level responsibility.
- Experience supporting a publicly traded company; background in energy, mining, infrastructure, or other regulated industries strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing and partnering with external investor relations and communications consultants.
- Strong understanding of public company disclosure requirements and Reg FD.
- Proven experience with crisis communications and executive advisory support.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and strategic communication skills.
