Project Manager, Hospital Security

Project Manager, Hospital Safety (Contract - 5-6 Months) $60-65/HR

The Public Safety division oversees physical security and security technology infrastructure across a large, multi-region healthcare system. Active initiatives include surveillance system upgrades, access control modernization, and infrastructure refresh projects across more than 20 facilities.

Significant capital funding has been allocated to support these initiatives. The primary need is disciplined project execution, structured oversight, and improved vendor coordination to ensure timely delivery.

• Oversee and accelerate execution of active physical security technology projects across multiple facilities.
• Develop and maintain structured project plans, milestones, and reporting cadence.
• Coordinate directly with facility leadership, including Presidents and COOs, to provide project updates and alignment.
• Manage and hold external vendors accountable to timelines, service level agreements (SLAs), and contractual commitments.
• Partner closely with internal Public Safety leadership and technical teams.
• Establish consistent communication between field operations, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
• Identify risks, mitigate delays, and drive issue resolution.
• Ensure effective utilization of allocated capital funds through disciplined execution oversight.

• Video surveillance system upgrades (IP and analog camera systems)
• NVR/DVR deployment and modernization
• Access control system enhancements
• Infrastructure coordination related to physical security systems
• Multi-site implementation oversight

• 7+ years of progressive project management experience
• Demonstrated success managing multi-site technology deployments
• Strong vendor management experience, including SLA enforcement and escalation
• Proven experience holding vendors accountable
• Managing contracts and enforcing SLAs
• Escalating performance gaps
• Driving accountability for timelines and deliverables
• Experience working within complex, regulated environments (healthcare preferred)
• Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, from executive leadership to field technicians
• Strong organizational discipline and follow-through

• Experience overseeing physical security technology initiatives (video surveillance, access control, security infrastructure)
• Prior experience within a healthcare system environment
• Familiarity with capital project governance and reporting
• Texas-based candidate with ability to travel regionally as needed
