Office Administrator / Head of Office Operations
Dallas, TX | In-Office (5 Days)
Target Salary: $150,000 - $200,000
We are partnering with a prestigious, nationally recognized law firm to identify a senior Office Administrator to lead operations for its Dallas office. This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced office operations professional who thrives in complex, high-expectation environments and is comfortable partnering directly with firm leadership, attorneys, and corporate services teams.

- Senior leadership position within a flagship office
- Direct partnership with firmwide leadership and executive stakeholders
- Full ownership of office operations, budget, staff, and facilities
- Highly visible, trusted role supporting Partners and senior professionals
- Strong compensation aligned with senior Big Law administration
- Serve as a core member of the local office leadership team, ensuring operational excellence and a high-performance office culture
- Lead and develop administrative, office services, and secretarial support teams
- Oversee staffing assignments, coverage, and workflow across the office
- Prepare and manage the annual office budget in collaboration with firm leadership and finance
- Approve invoices, expenses, and vendor costs in alignment with firm policies
- Monitor spending and ensure financial discipline at the office level
- Act as the primary point of contact for HR on employee relations matters, performance management, and disciplinary issues
- Partner on recruitment, onboarding, evaluations, and compensation processes for staff
- Ensure confidentiality, professionalism, and consistency in people management
- Own the day-to-day relationship with building management and external vendors
- Lead tenant improvements, construction projects, and space planning initiatives
- Ensure compliance with lease terms, safety regulations, and security protocols
- Implement and enforce office-wide policies aligned with firm standards and local regulations
- Partner with firmwide teams on risk management, insurance matters, and compliance initiatives
- 5+ years of experience in law firm administration or professional services operations
- Proven leadership experience managing multi-functional teams
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and expense oversight
- Experience supporting senior attorneys, partners, or executive stakeholders
- Facilities or office management experience in a professional services environment
- Exceptional judgment, discretion, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability setting
