VP Strategy & Operations — High‑Growth Fintech

Hybrid in Dallas preferred. Remote within US can be considered

A rapidly scaling fintech operating in a complex, asset‑backed consumer finance ecosystem is looking for a Vice President of Operations — a senior operator who thrives at the intersection of strategy, systems design, and cross‑functional execution.

The business is in a strong funding position, backed by well‑known investors, and growing fast. The product is multi‑layered, touches several regulatory environments, and requires a highly structured operations engine to scale efficiently. This role is a cornerstone hire as they prepare for their next phase of growth.

Why this role matters

You’ll act as the COO’s right hand — the person who turns operational complexity into clarity, scalability, and measurable results. You’ll design frameworks, build smarter AI integrated workflows, streamline processes, and drive consistency across several Ops verticals.

This is not a “people‑scaling” role. It’s a systems‑scaling role.

• • Analyse performance across multiple operational areas to find bottlenecks including underwritng, servicing, fraud, disputes, customer service etc.
• • Build scalable processes leveraging automation and AI that reduce manual work and improve throughput
• • Partner cross‑functionally with Product, Engineering & Compliance
• • Support multi‑vertical operations (banking ops, disputes, processing, customer ops)
• • Present insights and initiatives to the executive team regularly
• • Represent the COO when needed and elevate the operational function

• • 10+ years in Operations with significant leadership exposure
• • Experience in fintech / lending / credit / consumer financial products
• • Strong analytical toolkit (Excel required; SQL a plus)
• • Ability to simplify complexity and design scalable systems
• • Confident communicator with exec‑level presentation experience
• • Someone who enjoys building while scaling — not inheriting a finished machine

  Base: Up to circa $200,000 + Bonus + Equity
