Asset Manager

Position: Fixed Asset Manager
Gecko Hospitality - Up to $130000.00/year -  - Responsibilities:
Asset Lifecycle Management:
Manage and maintain the company-wide fixed asset sub-ledger, including the recording of acquisitions, transfers, and disposals in the accounting system.;
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
Ensure all fixed asset accounting is performed in strict accordance with GAAP. Prepare and manage monthly depreciation schedules, asset roll-forwards, and reconciliation reports for the general ledger.;
Capital Project Tracking:
Collaborate with development and operations teams to monitor capital expenditure projects. Ensure project costs are accurately tracked and assets are properly capitalized upon project completion.;
Policy & Procedure:
Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures for fixed asset management, ensuring a standardized and efficient process across all locations.;
Physical Audits:
Plan and coordinate periodic physical inventories and audits of fixed assets at various restaurant locations to verify existence, condition, and records accuracy.
