About XTI Aerospace
XTI Aerospace is a pioneering leader in xVTOL and powered‑lift aircraft solutions. We're developing the Tri Fan 600, a hybrid aircraft that combines helicopter VTOL capability with the speed, range, and comfort of a fixed‑wing aircraft, redefining regional air travel.

Role Overview
The Portfolio Value Creation & Integration Director will serve as the primary architect of value creation across XTI Aerospace’s expanding portfolio of businesses, balancing strategic insight, transactional expertise, and operating leadership. The role spans the full M&A lifecycle from pre‑close diligence, synergy modeling, to post‑close integration and portfolio performance optimization, ensuring every transaction translates into measurable enterprise value. This individual will identify, prioritize, and lead cross‑functional initiatives that unlock portfolio value, enhance operational efficiency, accelerate growth, and ensure effective integration of newly acquired businesses.

The ideal candidate brings a rare combination of management consulting adaptability, full transaction cycle experience, and operating leadership. They navigate ambiguity, discern the key levers that drive value, and mobilize diverse teams to deliver aligned, measurable, and sustained outcomes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and execution of strategic value‑creation initiatives across portfolio companies, focusing on growth acceleration, margin expansion, and operational improvement.
  • Collaborate with portfolio leadership to diagnose opportunities, define priorities, and execute measurable value‑creation initiatives that deliver EBITDA uplift.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to management teams, bringing proven frameworks from consulting, private equity, and operating roles.
  • Build and institutionalize playbooks for growth and transformation, enabling repeatable success across diverse subsidiaries and business models.
  • Establish frameworks and performance metrics to track and report on value‑creation progress across the portfolio.
  • Lead and support the full deal lifecycle, including pre‑close diligence, synergy modeling, and post‑close integration.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously evolve the Integration Playbook, ensuring integration execution across all functions from finance and HR to operations and technology.
  • Anticipate integration challenges early, establish cross‑functional accountability, and drive rapid, low‑friction transition from transaction to value realization.
  • Develop and implement standardized 100‑day plans to accelerate synergy realization, integration progress, and reporting discipline.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior leadership across portfolio companies and corporate functions.
  • Operate effectively in a dynamic, high‑growth environment where priorities evolve rapidly.
  • Coach and develop project teams, ensuring clarity of purpose and disciplined follow‑through.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting and transaction advisory or private equity value‑creation roles.
  • 5+ years of experience in high‑impact operating roles leading growth, acquisition integration, and/or transformation/business‑model evolution.
  • Proven experience leading teams and value‑creation initiatives in complex, multi‑entity environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements and execute growth‑oriented strategies within portfolio or growth‑stage/lower mid‑market business settings.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and strategic problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity, develop clarity, and build structure where none exists.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • A former management consultant who has transitioned into a private‑equity role, or a former operating professional who has transitioned to an M&A/private‑equity role.
  • Brings transaction experience and understands integration dynamics but is more passionate about building value post‑close.
  • Thrives in unstructured, high‑accountability…
