The Opportunity
We are building something different in the Employee Benefits space and are seeking a high-impact executive leader to drive our next phase of growth. This role is a rare opportunity to step into a true business-building leadership position: part strategist, part operator, and part sales-driven growth architect.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader with a proven track record of scaling an agency or division, leveraging deep carrier relationships, and creating modern benefits strategies that win in highly competitive environments. This executive will lead the entire Employee Benefits operations organization while owning the strategy to rapidly expand revenue, market presence, and client impact.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the overarching strategy to scale a high-growth Employee Benefits business significantly year-over-year.
- Partner closely with producers and executive leadership to accelerate new business wins.
- Build repeatable strategies that increase deal volume, close rates, and client retention.
- Ensure the firm remains positioned as a forward-thinking leader in the EB marketplace.
- Oversee the full Employee Benefits service and operations function, including Account Executives, Managers, and Analysts.
- Build scalable infrastructure, workflows, and team structures to support rapid growth.
- Implement best-in-class processes across submissions, renewals, and the overall client experience.
- Drive efficiency, accountability, and performance across the organization.
- Leverage deep market expertise and established carrier relationships to deliver differentiated client solutions.
- Strengthen partnerships with key carriers and underwriting leaders.
- Create innovative plan design and funding strategies tailored specifically to employer needs.
- Hire, develop, and inspire a high-performing team.
- Establish a growth-oriented, entrepreneurial culture that challenges traditional agency norms.
- Serve as a key member of the leadership team shaping the future of the entire business.
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive leadership experience specifically within Employee Benefits.
- Proven Success: A track record of successfully growing and scaling an EB agency, division, or book of business.
- Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of sales strategy, client acquisition, and competitive positioning.
- Market Presence: Established carrier relationships and high market credibility.
- Operational Depth: Experience leading multi-functional operations and service teams.
- Mindset: A strategic mindset paired with strong execution skills and financial discipline.
- Expansion Potential: Exposure to Property & Casualty (P&C) is considered a plus, as this role is expected to expand in scope over time.
