Management Consulting/Asset Management Project Manager
Join our Management Consulting Team as a Project Manager leading asset management projects in Texas, focusing on business growth, project delivery, and staff mentorship.
Key Responsibilities- Support development and implementation of asset management plans and programs: conduct inventories, calculate life‑cycle costs, set service levels, prioritize repair & replacement projects, and execute long‑term financial planning.
- Assist in business development: client interaction, collaboration with marketing staff, proposal preparation, and interview team participation.
- Develop effective utility management studies (EUM), including gap analysis, strategy development, and execution support.
- Advisory on the selection, implementation, and long‑term use of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Apply reliability‑centered maintenance (RCM) and reliability‑centered design (RCD) principles to maintenance strategies.
- Supervise and support junior staff development.
- Travel as needed for client meetings, site visits, and conferences.
- Perform project management tasks: negotiate contracts, manage quality and financial performance, coordinate with subconsultants, and resolve budget/schedule issues.
- Build, supervise, and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration.
- B.S. in Engineering, Geography, Management Information Systems, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of consulting experience with municipal utilities or experience working at a municipal utility.
- Strong technical knowledge of the water/wastewater industry.
- Excellent client service skills and positive client interaction.
- Effective teamwork and strong communication skills.
- Certification in one or more of:
Professional Engineer (PE), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), Institute of Asset Management (IAM).
