Position Summary

The Regional Manager oversees operations, financial performance, team leadership, and brand execution for three Pigtails & Crewcuts salons in the Dallas, TX area. Each location is supported to deliver exceptional customer experiences, meet revenue and profitability goals, and uphold the company’s mission of providing fun, stress-free haircuts for children. Additionally, acting as the bridge between ownership and salon locations by driving consistency, accountability, and growth across all salons.

As a Regional Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to develop and lead strong teams, impact families in your community, and drive meaningful business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Team Development
  • Recruit, coach, and develop Assistant Managers, hair stylists and receptionists.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with each Assistant Manager.
  • Build strong, positive team cultures aligned with company values.
  • Lead performance reviews and implement development plans for each employee.
  • Oversee staffing levels, scheduling efficiency, and retention strategies.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Ensure brand standards, service protocols, and cleanliness standards are upheld at all locations.
  • Visit all sites weekly and conduct operational audits each quarter (Shear Excellence).
  • Maintain consistency in customer experience across all salons.
  • Oversee inventory management and retail merchandising execution.
  • Ensure compliance with state board regulations and safety requirements.
  • Financial Performance
  • Analyze KPIs including haircut numbers, service mix, retail performance, and labor targets.
  • Develop action plans to improve haircut numbers and cost control (labor and salon supplies).
  • Oversee payroll hours and salon supply costs.
  • Drive retail sales growth and average ticket increases.
  • Customer Experience
  • Ensure every salon delivers a fun, engaging, and memorable experience for children and families.
  • Monitor online reviews and customer feedback.
  • Resolve escalated guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Support local marketing efforts and community engagement initiatives.
  • Growth & Strategy
  • Partner with ownership on growth initiatives and long-term planning.
  • Implement promotions, local marketing, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, efficiency, and team performance.
Qualifications
  • 3 – 5+ years of multi-unit management experience (retail, salon, franchise, or service-based business preferred)
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel between three locations weekly
  • Passion for creating exceptional customer experiences
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Revenue growth across all three locations
  • Labor cost control, by managing staff schedules
  • Retail sales percentage, at or above Pigtails & Crewcuts benchmark
  • Customer satisfaction and online ratings
  • Employee retention and engagement
  • Local marketing execution per Pigtails & Crewcuts requirements
