We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead HVAC and plumbing construction projects from planning through completion. In this role, you will manage and supervise project teams, develop and maintain budgets and schedules, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure every project meets the highest standards for quality, safety, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee multiple mechanical construction projects, managing scope, schedule, and deliverables
  • Supervise engineers and field teams to align execution with project requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Review and enforce contract documents, subcontracts, and safety policies
  • Procure materials and subcontractors while maintaining financial controls
  • Prepare progress payment applications and monitor cash flow
  • Conduct site visits to verify progress and address issues in real time
  • Facilitate design-build coordination and support client relationship management
  • Manage contract finances and ensure accurate cost loading
  • Generate billing schedules targeting margins above cost
  • Provide regular cost and budget analyses
  • Close out projects and secure retainage within two weeks of final billing
  • Execute lien processes as needed
Qualifications
  • Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 3–5 years of project management in mechanical contracting or related fields
  • Proven track record in new construction and renovation projects
  • Proficiency in accounting software, MS Office, and CAD/BIM tools
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
