Summary

The Membership Manager directs and oversees membership activities for the club. This role develops programs, initiatives, and policies designed to create, increase, and retain membership. The Membership Manager also creates, updates, and distributes information to current and prospective members and is responsible for resolving escalated issues in coordination with various departments.

Job Functions
  • Oversee and manage all new member recruitment and partnerships
  • Manage logistics associated with prospective member recruitment and member retention, including tours with potential members
  • Manage the prospective‑member internal review process
  • Partner with the Events Manager on event logistics, including private functions, social gatherings, and corporate events
  • Oversee and manage the CRM
  • Manage new member onboarding and orientation
  • Partner with the Club General Manager to monitor and promote exceptional guest and member experiences
  • Ensure all members and guests adhere to club guidelines
  • Manage program structure for confidential reporting of any club member violations
  • Create communication strategies for various member communications
  • Partner with hotel management on member and guest arrivals, parking, and valet
  • Develop, oversee, and manage a crisis‑response plan for the club
  • Work closely with the General Manager and the entire club team
  • Manage weekly analytics and reporting related to membership metrics
  • Monitor and meet membership sales and club goals
  • Assist in creating membership collateral, processes, rules, and guidelines
  • Work with an independent membership committee in the member‑selection process
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of proven success in a high-volume, luxury hospitality environment
  • Strong people‑management skills with the ability to instill a culture of accountability
  • Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and time‑management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and social media platforms
  • Ability to work flexible, non-traditional hours
