Director Of Operations
We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Director of Operations for a Premier Title Company in downtown Dallas. The Director of Operations is responsible for below specific duties.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that support company growth and efficiency.
- Ensure operational consistency across all office locations.
- Oversee all functions of the Policy Department, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation, issuance, and delivery of title insurance policies, as well as remittance reporting.
- Resolve complex title, escrow, and closing issues while minimizing operational risk.
- Maintain compliance with underwriting guidelines.
- Manage compliance with Texas Department of Insurance regulations.
- Oversee internal and external audits.
- Supervise the Escrow Software Manager.
- Serve as the liaison between the IT Department and the TPS provider.
- Oversee escrow office licensing procedures.
Required qualifications for the position include:
- A college degree and a minimum of seven years of experience in the title industry.
- A minimum of five years of experience managing multi-department title operations.
- Strong knowledge of title insurance, escrow processes, underwriting requirements, and Texas Department of Insurance regulations, including regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Ram Quest and Soft Pro software.
- Strong knowledge of underwriter relationships and regulatory audit processes.
- Current Escrow Officer licensure with the Texas Department of Insurance, or the ability to obtain licensure.
Preferred qualifications for the position include:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
Pay Rate Range: $150,000 for salaried positions Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location.
