DescriptionPosition Summary
Responsible for leading and managing all aspects of labor relations within the organization for both union and non-union facilities, while effectively developing, implementing, and leading comprehensive health, safety, and environmental programs.
Essential Functions
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with local union representatives.
- Lead negotiations for collective bargaining agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while addressing employee concerns and needs.
- Handle grievances and disputes om accordance with established protocols, working to resolve issues amicably and efficiently.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness through specific actions, training, and accountability
- Manage and control travel and entertainment expenses.
- Lead investigations into workplace incidents and near misses to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Work closely with the business to integrate EHS and labor relations standards into operational practices.
- Communicate EHS goals and labor relations initiatives to all levels of the organization.
- Lead and mentor the EHS team, fostering an action and team-oriented environment.
- Develop and oversee annual budgets.

Skills & Abilities
Education:
Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, industrial relations, human resources or a related field.
Experience:
7+ years proven experience with safety and labor relations, including contract negotiation and grievance resolution. Experience leading a safety team.
Computer
Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Office products. Other Requirements:
Travel as needed to company locations.
Work Environment
Work environment varies from office to job site to industrial locations
